No Added Sugar Apple Crumble Recipe

Looking for a hump day pick me up? Piece of cake (well, Crumble…)

Ingredients:

250g x Apples ( sliced and cores removed)
1 tbsp x Honey

For the crumble topping:

3 tbsp x Water
40g x Butter 
75g x Plain Flour 
25g x Ground Almonds 

 

 Method:

1. Place the fruit, NKD Living Granulated Erythritol, honey and water in a saucepan.
2. Heat on a low heat for 5 minutes until the fruit starts to soften.
3. Divide the fruit among 4 ovenproof ramekins.
4. Place the butter and flour in a bowl and rub in using your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs, add in the ground almonds and 2 tbsp of NKD Living Granulated Erythritol.
5. Spoon the mixture over the fruit, sprinkle with the NKD Living Granulated Erythritol Gold and bake for 30 minutes until the crumble is golden.
